Dadimashtaka choorna--50gms vaidyaratnam/Avp/Kottakkal

Dadimashtaka churna is a traditional Ayurvedic medicine used for gastro intestinal complaints like diarrhoea.  Churna refers to powder. This product is an herbal powder. The main ingredient of  Dadimashtaka is Pomegranate.

Dadimashtaka Churna Ingredients: 
Vamsha (Bambusa bambos) –  10 grams
Cinnamon – 20 grams
Patra – Cinnamomum tamala leaves – 20 grams
Cardamom – 20 grams
Nagakesara – Mesua ferrea – 20 grams
Yavani – Trachyspermum ammi – 40 grams
Coriander – 40 grams
White cumin seed – 40 grams
Long pepper root – 40 grams
Ginger, pepper and long pepper – 40 grams. (These three together called asTriaktu)
Pomegranate – 40 grams
sugar – 80 grams

Dose – 5 – 10 grams once or twice a day, or as directed by Ayurvedic doctor is the adult dose.
In children below 5 years of age, it is administered in a dose of 1 – 2 grams once or twice a day, after food with water.
In children between 5 – 12 years of age, the dose is – 2 – 5 grams once or twice a day.
